A MOPA FIBER LASER MARKING TESTING ON PE MATERIAL

We used five main parameters to adjust the marking effect on the black plastic(PE) with MOPA fiber laser marker. They are “speed”, “frequency”, “power”, “fill distance” and “mode”. One of the advantage of our machine is that it has multiple mode(Pulse width)—8 in total, compared to other fiber laser source with only one mode.
 
In this report, we test four parameters and marked the letter “A” on the material. To test, we change one specific parameter with 8 different values while keeping the other four parameters unchanged.
